Donny and E.T.

When Blackie and Penny came to IPPL, Penny had an adorable black baby girl gibbon clinging to her chest. The baby had been named E.T. after the extra-terrestrial in the famous movie. She grew up at IPPL and, like all gibbons, left the family group at adolescence. She now shares her life with Donny, who was zoo-born and had four zoo homes before coming to IPPL in 2001. He came from a small zoo in Wisconsin where he had lived alone for years. Donny and E.T. make a very compatible couple.
